WEEKLY SCHEDULE
CLASS DESCRIPTION:
CrossFit: In a typical class we will warm up, work on our mobility, do some body weight skills and drills, spend some time working with weights and finally we WOD. No two days are the same, we are constantly working in a progressive program to help you improve your athletic capability. Each class is highly individualized so wether we have one of our CrossFit Games athletes in a class or someone that just graduated on-ramp both will still get a great work out.
CrossFit Skills: This is a foundations class for EVERYONE. We break down the foundational CrossFit movements into 3 levels of difficulty: scaled, RX, RX+. You will not only get a great workout based on your ability level but you'll be building yourself up to be able to do your first pull up, first muscle up or progress from kipping to butterfly pull ups.
CrossFit Nutrition: The first half of the class is a WOD and the second half we are discussing and learning about nutrition. The main goal of this class is to teach you how to eat for a lifetime, no fad diets just real a real diet with real food. We discuss meal prepping, grocery shopping, changing your diet based on your goals, how to prevent binge eating and everything else involved with you and your food.
Barbell Club: This is a class where you work on your Power Lifting, Olympic Lifting and auxiliary lifts. This is a progressive periodized program where you are constantly building off of what you did the previous week. The main goal for this class is to perfect your technique and to get stronger and faster.
TEAM WOD: A fun way to work out with everyone of all ability levels. Sometimes you might work with one other person, sometimes 4 other people in your team and everyone is working hard to complete the WOD as a TEAM.
Open Gym: You can do whatever you like during these classes. You can use this time to work on your mobility, work on your weak areas or do one of the previous WODs you might have missed. The time is yours to do what you want with.
RX+: This class is for athletes that can typically RX every WOD. These workouts are a bit more technical, heavier and more demanding than the typical CrossFit class. There is no scaling in this class, if you aren't sure you can do this class ask one of our coaches.
Yoga: A combination of several styles of yoga. A typical class includes stretching, balance, strength, breathing techniques and relaxation A combination of a number of yoga styles. This class includes strength, stretching, breathing, balance and relaxation, always with possible adaptations making the class suitable for beginners. Expect to work on and get a sweat on as you build heat in the body with a strong, flowing practice.
